Fabulous book. I'm going to buy it. It makes the point that without cooperation, you cannot take care of a bipolar person because, unmedicated, they can get violent, and you can't take care of anyone if you're dead. Love is a great motivator for a bipolar person to cooperate. They have to make the ultimate act of trust by placing their lives in your hands.
I'm not married or otherwise related to someone with bipolar disorder, but if I was, I wouldn't hesitate to get this book immediately. It will be on my shelf, though, and soon. I can hardly remember all the people I've known, and know, who could use it and I'll be lending it out continuously, I'm sure.
