While Kay Redfield Jamison's Fresh Air piece is a little over 20 minutes long, it is absolutely worth the listen. NPR is known for its thought-provoking talk-radio and Jamison's discussion of her fabulous (I've read it) memoir "An Unquiet Mind" is held to the same high standards. After reading the book about a year ago, listening to hear talk about the experiences she had while dealing with her manic-depressive disorder. I both recommend reading Jamison's book (An Unquiet Mind) and then listening to this NPR featurette!
