I think it's good that doctors are starting to do studies on the atypical anti-psychotics like Abilify in children. They started at 10. There are children who are born seriously bipolar or schizophrenic, and there has to be a way to treat that -- after a series of holistic methods can be proven not to work. They said one of the patients went to the maximum dosage of 30 mgs a day. That couldn't have been the 10 year old. I think doctors will find the answer to serious psychotic illness in children with these new drugs, but with altering the dosage to fit the child, and then increasing it as the child becomes an adult.
